Wow, so young.
Yes, it is the alcohol. It will clear in time.
BUt, if your drank as an alcoholic, it would have been better to taper off slowly.
I've heard of a good book called "Seven weeks to Sobriety" a natuaral approach of overall healing. Sure you can find it on Amazon.
ALcohol also wreaks havoic with blood
Sugar and insulin.
The vegetable and gluten free areas are a good start. I would limit your fruit for a few weeks to a few months.
And also, need to incorporate some good protein, ( fish, beef, eggs, cottage cheese, chicken, turkey) as this helps with the glucose regulation. ( but still do not consume a lot of protein as it is hard to digest and in turn is hard on the liver too. Digestive enzymes do help with the protein, like Prancreatin and HCI.
Avoid sugars, desserts and fruit juices too.
Without all this, it seems like there is not much to eat, but really there is.
If you need any advise, even thuogh I am in a severe stage of AF, I have been hypoglemic for 27 years and have learned a lot about it, not just from reading, but from my own experience and from my past naturopathic doctor.
Be sure to eat a snack of protein and a little complex carb about an hour before bed: like cottage cheese and a few baby carrots, or
Celery stock with almond butter on it, as it will tie you over till morning.
Eat small meals 4-5 times a day. Do not go more than 3-4 hours with out eating.
Hope you get better soon.
