Look for a natural doctor that is also and MD. Employers are more likely to take this paperwork from someone with an MD license.

It will depend on how long you plan to be out of work. A lot of natural treatments allow you to work; unless you are traveling to somewhere to get the treatment and in that case any employer should have no problem. If you are so ill that you need time off, any employer should give you that time, hard not to expect a cancer patient to work if they cannot.
