I'm talking at least 10 days, though I'd like to try and make 14.
What benefits did you notice after? How long did they last? Did it affect your taste and appetite? What specific issues did it solve? How did you transition?

This is a reply to # 2,065,326My college friend who suc***ed me into this had type 2 diabetes. Did 15 days, and since his blood Sugar has naturally been under control. Is he cured? Too soon to tell, but the results were positive. So, a month later, I am on the bandwagon.
For 10 days, I can only guarantee 4 things if you do not cheat.
1) You will be hungry.
2) You will stink.
3) You will lose weight.
4) At some point, water will not satisfy you.
The rest is up to your body, to be honest. And everyBODY is different.

MoreThis is a reply to # 2,065,326Most of the benefits of a water-only-fast occur AFTER the first week.
I did 25 days (detox horrendous) and then after a lengthy period of careful refeeding, another of 30 days (enjoyable) in permanently overcoming Leukemia.

This is a reply to # 2,065,482I tell you, nothing is more badass than kicking leukemia's butt! However, being 11 Days in, and planning to go the distance, I cannot imagine going the distance again unless I had something terribly wrong with me...like, say Cancer.
I am thirsty but water holds no more joy for me. But, I will take a drink.
