Good advice is to ditch the Diflucan, drugs like this only create candida resistance and increase its virulence over time. You are best to go for a more natural anti-fungal approach. Be careful of "passing the parcel" when it comes to relations, not sure what you mean by a "different" kind of relationship?
Treating and getting results takes time, you have to work on building up the integrity of the GI tract. You should be able to find plenty of good advice about diet and nutrition, the hardest part is the commitment for some time and then, until you really improve - without sliding back to booze and take-out. Watch those drugs, they are a trap and easy to fall into for that "quick fix" that all too many succumb to.
