So on Friday the 19th my lips peeled all the skin off...the day before I bought Vaseline and put it all over my lips, then I took a shower later on that night, and everything on my lips came off and it was burning really badly the next day on Saturday...I was scared that I really messed up my lips, but to my surprise after they started healing and I kept going out in the sun over the next several days, the lips weren't really building up at all! I went to the dermatologist on Tuesday to get some creams/ointments and he prescribed me a low medium and strong ointment. I started using the medium one, which called Triamcinolone Acetonide Ointment USP, 0.1% so it's been a week and I've barely gotten any buildup this week! So I'm really excited. We'll see happens...

This is a reply to # 2,059,175Thanks Mike! And thanks for all your hard work and dedication as well. I feel we've come so far in the last year and that is so amazing! I'm really happy, haha. Now just hoping I can get cured soon lol.
Shoot me that email whenever you get a chance and I'll put it on my site :) everyone deserve the best chance they can get, and that's what these sites are going to do for them. I know it would have been many more years before I could have figured half this stuff out on my own without everyone else's help.

This is a reply to # 2,059,174Daniel, this looks pretty good to me! It looks like you're getting to where I'm at now (admittedly, it seemed your EC is/was a bit more advanced). I have an area that mildly dries up and gets a bit tight/dry but doesn't peel like it used to. I think healing time may very well depend on how long you've had EC or perhaps how long you allowed them to build and peel. Just thought I'd give you another perspective. good luck
