You are absolutely right.
However, there is this problem which I have to address with a friend who has a website and is getting questions from her readers about taking iodine.
Their drs tell them u can destroy your thyroid if u overdose.
The studies back some of this up with iodine induced goiter, hypothyroid, hyperthyroid, etc, but they lack long term study and other details, such as supplements and diet.
There is an underlying problem here and I think vitamin D deficiency is at the root as well as all these genetically engineered foods we are forced to eat, but need more info from others.
I just don't understand why iodine drs think that the only solution to hot nodules is destruction of part or all of the thyroid.
