I have been saying for over a decade that there is "something wrong with the left side of my body". And its getting worse.
It started with a loss of ability to stretch my toes on my left foot when I was about 14 years old, after I broke my tailbone. My ankle on the left snaps and cracks all the time, now pain accompanies the cracking and I almost fall down stairs at times when my ankle "gives".
In the past 12 years, I've experienced headaches/migraines and sinus problems, always on the left. Tooth pain, Neck pain and muscle spasms, always on the left. Left eye slightly puffier than the right. Sciatic pain and low back problems, on the left and radiating down into the glutes and hamstrings.
I have spider veins all over my left leg, but not my right.
I have an ovarian cyst on the left ovary and have monthly pain with it, ongoing for over ten years.
I have floaters in front of my left eye and my vision is "foggy" in the left eye. However, eye exams show that both eyes are of equal impairment, very minor near-sightedness. I just "feel" like I can't see as well out of my left eye.
I have brain fog a lot and it feels as if its in the left side of my head, or radiating from the left side.
Every month, like clockwork, a few days before full moon, my muscles "harden" and sometimes spasm, starting with my neck and shoulders (mostly left) I get headaches and brain fog. I feel like I'm tipping to the left when I walk, my head just feels "swooshy" (left side again). I get frustrated because I can't think straight, very moody, fatigue and widespread pain, inability to sleep at night, tired during the day.
What could be going on? I'm wondering if perhaps I have Lyme and an old injury may have compromised my left side?
I am getting so frustrated, during the monthly "flair-ups" life is nearly unbearable. Luckily it does fade with time and I do have about two "normal" weeks per month before I flair up again.
Any ideas, I'm at my wits end. You can imagine my doctors have looked at me like I'm crazy when explaining these symptoms.
