It's been 3 weeks since I stumbled across the blue cheese. I've been eating a little bit every day since. The first week I felt mostly normal but I could feel the die-off reaction building up since I finally got rid of my
Sugar cravings and mostly stopped eating sugar. The second week I was mostly immune to the lack of
Sugar but was still having a die-off reaction to fermented foods (soy sauce, regular cheese, etc.) This was something I had been experiencing for a long time so it was nothing new.
As the second week progressed, I could feel my body also building up an immunity to these fermented foods; the die-off reaction slowly started fading.
Now I've almost hit the three week mark and within the past couple days I've started feeling substantially better. The die-off reaction has mostly ceased and my mind is much more quiet and alert. It was the mental symptoms that have bothered me the most since I first got sick, feeling like I was in a dream-like state almost like a psychosis so it's amazing that that's finally turning off.
I was also getting very sleepy every time I took the blue cheese, almost like taking a sleeping pill. This is actually the exact reaction I had when my candida was bad, after I would eat anything with a lot of sugar. This is finally wearing off and now I just feel like the "white noise" in my head is getting quieter and quieter each time I take the blue cheese.
I'm definitely not selling the blue cheese as a cure-all, but I do think it's worth sharing since I had such severe symptoms and they are definitely going away. I think my manifestation of candida is rare even among candida sufferers so I don't think the blue cheese would benefit most of you guys, but I'm sure there's a few out there who have it similar to me.
I'll continue to keep you all informed about how my progress goes.
Take care,
