OK something weird just happened. last night for dinner i had organic black beans. about half a plate. today for dinner i had them again. my mom walks into the house later at night and tells me it smells weird, like when you do your hair, your perm... i asked her "like ammonia?" she said " yes" i dont know if its a coincidence or what. but now im really worried and thinking i might have tmau- Re: Ammonia? badluck beauty

MoreThis is a reply to # 2,037,327My blood work showed insanely high levels of ammonia.... I always smell like it... It can be compared to a perm/burnt hair smell. But thats whats coming out of your pores is Ammonia... I have Tmau type 1 genetic... Even when I don't eat protein my ammonia levels are extremely high....The doctor can't explain it to me at all.... Go figure right?

Is it in a standard blood work that you get tested for ammonia, maybe that's what i have too. i was tested by a naturopathic doctor (test on doctors data.com) and my ammonia level was 34100 normal range 12000-49000 still in normal level but a little high. i might give ornitihine a try.- Re: Ammonia? badluck beauty

This is a reply to # 2,037,627Just ask the doctor to check for viruses in your blood... Tell them you want the ammonia levels checked... This isn't difficult they will do it and have it back to you quick. I went to a natro path before it was a waist of time for me because eI have tmau...
