They are at it again, pedding a new "disease", this time it ia about laughing and cryin - basic emotions are now an illness according the the drug pushers [FDA approved, of course}
Another Drug "we all need" - PBA Illness
When we laugh, it is generally "uncontrollable" or it would be a put on, wouldn't it?
And, that "being easily overcome by laughter" is generally how laughter comes on, isn't it?
Furthermore, is it not normal to OCCASIONALLY be "overcome by laughter" when we see Eugene Levy on TV, or do we ALLWAYS "struggle to have a good laugh"??
Likewise, when we cry, and it is genuine because something is very sad, it is not "controlled", is it? I went to my Mother's funeral last year, I kept control during the service but before that when it hit me she was gone I had 20 minute sessions of "uncontrolled crying" and, for that, I should take a pill to controll such unreasonable emotions?
BS!! These concepts are being trotted out as signs of a mental illness. They suggest we see our Doctor about it, they can give us a pill to keep these basic human emotions "under control".
Sure, it COULD be mental illness to laugh or cry half the waking day, at nothing at all, but that is not how I answered the questions - my answers never got above a "3 - occasionally" I burst out laughing at not much at all. Take a pill?? Let my liver handle it?? NOT!!
The questions are highly interpretive at best, and could be seen as I have described above.
NOT ONCE did I answer with a 4 or 5, as in "frequently" or "most of the time" , only occasionally

Karlin - My score of "16" means I am in mortal danger of laughter, apparently, because the website says so. I better worry about having a good laugh "occasionally" because when I laugh, sometimes it is "uncontrolled". ROBOTS might control their laughter, mine is spontaneous and hearty, and goes on for, gee, 30 seconds sometimes where I cannot stop it!!! HELP ME., Arrrrrrrrgggggg I have gone insane!!!
Link to the Website below - take the test yourelf, then run out an never have emotions again [I hope you understand that this is sarcasm, and perhaps you laugh at it ]
