Wintergreen essential oil is steam distilled from the leaves. It is a pale yellow or pinkish red liquid, with an intense sweet woody all most fruity odour.
This essential oil blends well with essential oils like oregano, thyme, mint and ylang ylang essential oil.
Commonly Called Gaultheria Oil, Pain relief oil. Its an active ingrident in many pain relief sprays, balms & oils

MoreThis is a reply to # 2,033,380If you use the therapeutic grade essential oil - and these are the only oils I would use - there are so many benefits to each oil. Wintergreen, specifically, is very medicinal for bones and energizing.
Last time I personally used it to save my infected tooth.
Otherwise, it is analgesic and might be helpful for Arthritis, especially if it is combined with other oils. It worked for my mother-in-law by itself. - Essential Oils abhinavsingh
