Hey guys,
I was just wondering if anyone tried the black tea idea posted by a user on here. I am doing it, and it actually seems to be regulating my bowels better.....maybe that is part of the trick to it?
I will stick with it for about another week to see if I notice any more improvement. I reckon that it could not hurt...and funnily enough, I used to drink a bunch of tea daily back when I lived abroad, and I did not have the odor issue back then. Could be a link??

I've been taking it for a few days, just one bag a day but not consistently sometimes i have tea from other places and it has no effect on me however i have a very rare case of bo from birth so it might work for some people.

How have you been doing?....I been doing the Tetleys Premium British Blend black tea and I've added Dannon Activia yogurt (vanilla, peach, or strawberry) to my daily regime and the Body Odor is still Totally GONE! I've been doing the Activia yogurt for the past 3 days. Three a day. One for/ or/ with my breakfast, one for/ or/ my lunch, one for/ or/ with my dinner....The Activia thoroughly "cleans" me out inside and for some reason I've been feeling and smelling fresher! My husband has and continues to notice the terrible odors are gone. Healthy live cultures help replenish and restore good bacteria that devour and eat up the bad bacteria that causes odors...plus these active and live cultures in my case act as a mild, moderate and gentle laxative....Tetley's Premium British Blend black tea and Dannon Activia yogurt are tops in my mind for combating BB, BO, and TMAU...much success to you all...#156161, looking 4ward to hearing from you and the others.....take care.

This is a reply to # 2,034,960hello all and thank you so much (draheraw)I read your post about three days ago and immediatly made myself some black lipton tea and that same day I notice a huge diffrence. I drinked at least 4 to 5 cup that day alone and being doing it ever since it's getting better everyday. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!!

This is a reply to # 2,033,142I tried Black Tea as another desperate attempt at fighting this cursed Body Odor demon, I figured it couldn't hurt it's just tea! I was amazed at the dramatic reduction in my odor ! I wanted to cry , I was so thankful ! I don't know if it is because I used coconut oil myself as wellfor the first time. I don't know if its the combination or One or the other ! I am going to continue with it and see what happens !

This is a reply to # 2,033,973I have BB and BO issues first off. I am not sure if its because of my stomach issues or because I have other family members with weird Body Odor s and its a mutated genes situation or what. When I take a shower you can smell proteins and ammonia etc coming from my body. No matter what ph the soap is or what I put on to cover it up , the stench still comes through, embarrassing me at work and church, my car even stinks!
ANYWAY....to answer your questions: I used
Dr. Bronner's Magic "All in One" Fair Trade and Organic Fresh-Pressed Virgin Coconut Oil (Whole Kernel Unrefined)
I rubbed this on my body as if lotioning aftery shower
And
Tetley's Classic Blend Black Tea
2 bags in 8 oz of hot water
Hope this keeps helping me and I pray it helps others. Meanwhile I will not stop searching for the source of my odor problem/ Curse

This is a reply to # 2,033,959Hi BhsiahRD...I am so happy the combination of black tea and coconut oil is working for you...The drinking of black tea alone has REALLY REALY WORKED for me and it has GREATLY REDUCED my TMAU odors and has KEPT THEM IT AT BAY! For 4 months now I have just been drinking Tetley's Premium British Blend black tea 3 times a day, 2 bags per cup. Three days ago I started consuming Dannon's Activia yogurt (vanilla, strawberry, peach are my favorites) and I've noticed that I smell fresher and feel cleaner even before I shower or bath! (By the way as I've suggested before 2 cups of brewed black tea in your very warm bath water will greatly help as well as rinsing your hair thoroughly with black tea, then leave in your hair for about 15 minutes then rinse thoroughly again. Experiment around an unsuspecting person after you've drank some black tea and your coconut oil...I am so very happy for you....also, 110 calories per cup of yogurt so you might want to do moderate excercise and stick to a balanced diet. Take along with you when you're out, 6 or 7 black tea bags in case you are at a restaurant and have the server bring you a cup or pot of hot water or have a container of brewed black tea when at work or school etc. Also, see if the black tea alone works for you, if it does that will be less money out of your pocket. Please keep me posted on how you are doing with the black tea. Take care.

This is a reply to # 2,034,966Hi Lady glad you are back! I have also been drinking my black tea but with all the bad weather haven been out much but I do notice my breathe is a lot fresher. I have also been altering with a lemon and ginger tea. I am happy to see someone is having success I think some people want a quick fix but it doesn't happen overnight. Stay strong everybody and let's keep sharing ideas on the things that are helping us with put odor.

This is a reply to # 2,035,025Hi! #156161, thank you. That's a great suggestion alternating the lemon/ginger tea with the black tea. I especially like the idea of using ginger tea because it is an excellent herb for cleansing and regulating the colon. Ginger, or ginger tea breaks down food so that it is easily digested where it doesn't linger in the gut where the odors of TMAU can fester and build up! The lemon tea acts as an astrigent and antiseptic which is good for fighting odors as well.....You are absolutely correct in saying quick fixes don't happen overnight, some things take longer to get better and on the flip side some things happen almost immediately, in other words some see improvement sooner. It simply depends on the individual(s) and their habits or vices, one's health and one's consistency in doing what it takes to get better, etc. So the Tetley's black tea, and the lemon/ginger tea sounds like a winning combo. By the way, I've added Dannon Activia yogurt (vanilla, strawberry, and peach are my favorites) to my daily regime of black tea (Tetley brand); because it regulates my digestive system with active, live cultures which greatly assist in getting rid of my foul odors because it acts like a mild to moderate laxative in my case. I eat my yogurt at least 2x a day every other day. Take care #156161

Thanks so much for your honesty and advice , we all must support each other . I have TMAU and hyperhydrosis , do you think the Black Tea will still be as effective? My life has been a living hell , been suffering for over a decade . :-[

This is a reply to # 2,033,142I actually drink organic ginger/lemon tea and I know I don't have BO when I drink it. I used to have BB but it went away when I went vegan so not rly sure about BB. But I know for sure BO goes away when I drink it after meal for sure.

This is a reply to # 2,034,271I noticed the difference almost instantly! I used two bags in 8oz tea cup of water! I can say I noticed the difference while working,probably like 3 hours after I took it for the first time. It was about a 30-40% difference. Although I reaked of the tea most of the day, I didnt mind, it was indeed an improvement in comparison to what I have been smelling like in the past....I used Tetley's tea ( Black)

This is a reply to # 2,062,992Ok I am Tmau positive and what have worked for me tetleys black tea the first day I notice a change in my odor no fish smell or poop I smell fresh I drink tetleys black tea once a day two bags I drink my prebiotic and grape seed extract and I also drink green tea to because I can not deal.with the caffeine in black tea please if you cannot handle caffine please don't drink but it has worked miracles please if you TMAU please try I am.living proof and there are many stories on this black tea working for them.
