PepsiCo announced on Friday that it would no longer use an ingredient in Gatorade after consumers complained.
The ingredient, brominated vegetable oil, which was used in citrus versions of the sports drink to prevent the flavorings from separating, was the object of a petition started on Change.org by Sarah Kavanagh, a 15-year-old from Hattiesburg, Miss., who became concerned about the ingredient after reading about it online. Studies have suggested there are possible side effects, including neurological disorders and altered thyroid hormones.

How long has the Iodine forum curezone been around? did the Iodine people here on CZ start any change.org petitions along these lines? if not… Why not?
Maybe we here at CZ should spend less time gossiping about how big bad and evil the corporations are, and more time working in the real world to change things.
we do have power in the real world, but if we constantly obsess about how powerful and untouchable big Pharma and big food are, we will talk ourselves out of our own power and talk ourselves out of change in the real world

This is a reply to # 2,030,174Gatorade has genetically modified ingredients in it as well, so removing bromide won't make me drink it.
We say NO to corps when spend our dollars elsewhere and when we write these corps complaining.
I write to corps all the time.
We all do our parts and petitions can be tricky to set up.
Everyone working together to get the word out makes changes quickly.

This is a reply to # 2,030,174I've been on this forum for quite a long time now and I have noticed that if one does a google search for "iodine" there is a helluva lot more information about it then there was when we began. I notice that other internet forums talk about Iodine supplementation. There are a lot more doctors websites that are iodine-friendly.
We have definitely been instrumental in getting the word out. Hey, perhaps we had something to do with raising consciousness about brominated vegetable oil as well.
We've helped a lot of people here, both directly and indirectly. Read the "R" messages.
We HAVE instigated change.

What site has generated more liver flushes, iodine supplementing cures, kidney cleanses, water cures than curezone?
