My gums on the lower right quadrant have been hurting lately, I've had gum disease before and my gums have been slightly lowered since then. The very last tooth, bottom right corner has the most gum damage, it has a deep crevice around the entire tooth where food gets stuck real easily.
So I was cleaning tonight with one of those metal dental picks scrapping the edges between tooth and gum. I might have other done it with that corner tooth. After scrapping around I used my waterpik on highest setting (I just have it set there all the time), and when I sprayed into the gums around that tooth I felt my gum bubble up a little further away from thr gum line. Water was getting in there through my gum line! But the bubble full of water slowly drained itself. Now that bubble area feels weird, like there may be still something inside but I'm not sure. Do I have an abscess forming there already or something? Has something like this happened to anyone else before and is there anything I can do to try to treat this?
