So I just got out of the hospital for what they thought as a mini stroke (turned out to be blood pressure and hormone issues from AF).
One thing they gave me that is working wonders is a pair of compression (TED) stockings. They are designed to keep the blood flow closer to the heart and brain, thus helping ease the symptoms of low blood pressure.
I have been wearing them for 2 days now and they are really helping with the dizziness. When I stand up I don't get that crazy head rush, and I feel I can breathe better. They are safe to wear while active as well as at rest. I plan to wear mine all the time until I can get my BP up to normal.
