Sorry to hear about your friend in this difficult situation. This would be a difficult thing to dealt with because of the weakness at the same time something needs to change for him.

Helping the body with nutritional absorption will help tremdously.

Here are a few suggestion:

Keep the colon clean with a good quality cleanser. Use daily for about 10 days and then maintenance levels.

Replenish  with probiotics daily

Eat only organic. Go light with eating meat esp. red meat. Eat several salads a day with several green leafy veggies.

Stay away from refined carbs

The digestive goal is to eat as much of live foods as possible and stay away from food that the body cannot use or digest within a few hours.

Food should not sit in your digestive system for very long since it will become putrid

Daily drink raw organic veggie juices. A little fruit juice is fine but maily veggies.

Our bodies are made to have several B.M.s a day and once this happens we are on our way back to health.

Hopefully this helps your friend until he has enough strength to deal with the poison in his mouth.
