This is a reply to # 2,011,570It's already hard to find people with EC but if, on top of that, we need to be 'friend' with a guy and tell him we would like to join the group, then waiting for his invitation to finally get into that secret community, it's not very the best way to get in touch with EC sufferers.

MoreThis is a reply to # 2,011,574i assume that if someone found the 'almighty cure' on the facebook group someone would share it here. although i dont think there is this almighty cure because i think everyone has different causes.

And yes, it's "secret", it's a hidden group that not everyone on Facebook knows what kind of problem you have. What better way is there to get in contact with EC sufferers? I don't see the problem.. :) It's not like it'll take weeks for "the guy" to invite you. Because my derm found "a lot" of Klebsiella oxycata (bacteria) on/in my lips, I have been on an Antibiotic for 10 days (stopped yesterday) and I've been using a chlorhexidine-gluconate (similar to Seb) mouthwash (in my mouth and also on my lips) to go with the antibiotic. So far nothing much has changed. This cycle did seem to have slowed down a little bit, so we'll see. Unfortunately, I did peel yesterday (very prematurely, which "a lot of force", so I'm not leaving them while on the "treatment".
I have two appointments next week for more swab tests to check for the bacteria again.Advertisement
