Hello all! So I've been saying for years now that I want to try making my own herbal tinctures and still haven't done it, but now am serious about it.
Dr. Schulze 's products are great and I've been buying them for years, but it can also get expensive especially if you're wanting to do a lot of different formulas.
There are several that I want to try making, but one in particular that I started looking for ingredients for was the Heart Formula. From what I understand Pacific Botanicals is one of the most recommended sources for getting herbs by
Dr. Schulze when making your own tinctures. I believe they have everything but the Cactus Grandiflorus. None of the other recommended places have it either. I'm wondering why this herb is so difficult to come by?
I have found it already made in tincture by several different companies, but then wondering how much of the tincture to add if I'm using all the rest dried herbs. Plus in getting it from sources other than those recommended by
Dr. Schulze , especially those already in tincture form I question if the quality is as it should be.
Guess the other possibility is that I could make the formula a little different, use some other herbs, but I would like to stick with what Dr. Schulze has formulated.
Thanks in advance for your help!
