I would say that it's definitely the mirena. your story sounds much like mine and others here. I had mine for 6 1/2 years and slowly my health started declining and not one Dr till this day admits that it was the mirena. You can read my story if you click on my name. I'm now 3 years post removal and although I'm not doing 100 % better I'm doing much better than how I was 3 years ago, go figure. I have had so many labs and been to many Drs with no help. I would suggest you to not argue with them just have them take it out and let them know that you strongly believe that mirena was making you sick. The only thing that has come back abnormal in my labs is my ANA (positive) which this has happened to others here. Did they check your ANA?

I had some very similiar experiences! I was first tested for galbladder disease, then lupus and then multiple sclerosis. I was having vertigo, pins and needles regularly, pains and weakness. My bowels were very abnormal and I lose crazy weight! Later I started having more severe issues to where I had to call 911 a couple of times. I was having stroke like symptoms, and I thought I was dying. I was seeing a neurologist and everything was coming back normal. MRI's, visual field testing (I went blind in my left eye for a day), crazy weird blood labs and the tests were just non-stop. When I talked to my doctor, and suggested maybe it was related to the IUD (which was suggested by a friend, I didn't even believe- it just seemed "too serious")he said, "No, these are not side effects of the Mirena". What crap! When I had it removed, within 2 months most of my issues were gone. I still deal with vertigo off and on, but I am no longer scared to drive, I can be a parent again. No question in my mind what was the cause. But, just because a random test didnt show these symptoms does not mean a doctor should discredit it nor that maybe they shouldnt be possibly reporting it! Very frustrating.

In case any of you guys are still on here just an update. After I was talking to you all I have been since diagnosed with ms. I'm back and still wondering about the mirena coil. It's 10 years I have it now. I never got it removed. So doing some research into if it's worth getting it again
