Hi everyone!
I would like to report on how I am feeling one months after ending my water fast.
I only did 5 days on water, and I did one day at the beginning on juice, so kind of 6 days in total. For the record, I actually felt really gross after the juice day; too much fruit juices I suppose, because I felt very itchy and sugared-out, even though I made it fresh in my juicer.
Anyway, I was suffering from a lot of gas and bloating and incomplete bowel movements before the fast. I would often end the day with a gassy tummy ache, and in the morning my stools would be very loose and I would generally not feel as if I was fully empty. Also, my system would kind of shut off after the morning, and I would not be able to have a bowel movement again for the rest of the day.
How things have changed!
For about 2 weeks after the fast, my stools were in the process of becoming harder to the point that a few times they hurt and kind of got stuck; they would require some straining. Even starting then however, I would find I could go at any time of day that my body desired. For the past few weeks, I have had 3-4 perfectly formed, easily passed stools every day! Every single day. I have experimented with eating different foods that used to give me problems, and I do not get gassy and bloated any more.
I wanted to share this because I was at the point of giving up hope.
Water Fasting was literally the last resort; I had done 7 liver flushes, gone mostly raw vegan, taken
Oxypowder for years, you name it. After the fast I just left my body alone; no probiotics, nothing, and its amazing, it really has healed itself!!
