I have been avoiding the scale, because I wanted this fast to be all about healing. And I thought, if I were to hop on the scale - I might get discouraged by a number, and not follow through. Well, I'm glad I waited - I still have a few more days planned for this fast... but I was really happy at the number this morning. In 6 days, I have lost 8 pounds - AND - I'm now at a weight I haven't seen in a LONG while.

My energy is off the charts, too - I had so much focus today, people had a hard time keeping up with me. I didn't expect this from a Water Fast - I imagined that I would spend the week on the couch, but that's not the case at all. I don't feel hungry - I guess maybe at the end of day 2, my cravings subsided.

I've planned on 10 days for this fast - but I'm going to listen to my body, and see how I feel then.
