I wrote earlier about the combination of melatonin and echinacea in being able to decrease aging, combat leukemia, and increase the lifespan. This new study provides further proof of the benefits of melatonin.
"After six months, the state of the mice undergoing treatment was closer to that of the mice with no mutations than to their own initial pathological state. From this we can say that the disease has significantly regressed," Sanfeliu states.
The results, which were published in the journal Neurobiology of Aging, show a general improvement in behaviour, learning, and memory with the three treatments.

Melatonin has been very effective for me as far as reducing gut inflammation and helping me wind down at night. Its helpful on road trips as well. I havent had any bad side effects with it, and it does not cause early morning grogginess. It's been a lifesaver for the nights that I have trouble sleeping due to an upset gut or anxiety.
