Hi, I'm new to this forum and a sufferer of chronic candidiasis, and recently put the pieces together and I'm pretty sure I have adrenal fatigue too. I've been on this protocol since december making mistakes and trying to get it right, and I've been through a lot of hell. In may I was past the die off phase of candidaisis treatment and feeling better when I had a tooth pulled and got an infection, I was on 3 rounds of antibiotics which threw everything off and I haven't been able to come back from that. I started trying to get back on my protocol but I would work my way up to a certain point and stop tolerating the treatment. I realized that at these times I was under a lot of stress physically and mentally and the whole summer was the most stressful time of my entire life with visits in and out of the er, and losing 2 jobs because I was too sick. Right now it's still tough to tell the difference between the candida and fatigue symptoms, but I'm experiencing severe problems sleeping, chronic weakness, dizziness, getting up to pee in the middle of the night, and depression and relentless over anxious thoughts and stress on even the smallest problems (ex: my cat waking me up in the morning because he's hungry and me stressing about it for an hour). I've tried to avoid stressful situations, be more social and positive, worry less, and take more time to relax and get some me time in, but it hasn't been easy to keep it consistent. I'm on all the supplements reccommended in the protocol I linked, and I added some in now that I'm looking into adrenal fatigue. The things that are relevant are 3-5000mg vit c, ashwagandha, pantothenic acid, acetyl-l-cartenine with alpha lipoic acid, and licorice root tea. I'm also getting siberian ginseng, yucca root, and adrenal cortex in the mail soon. I'm wondering if I should be taking all of these and how to organize the my supplement intake for the best efficiency. Also I don't know how much adrenal cortex to take and for how long, and If i should be taking some of these things in early treatment to boost my adrenals and then others for maintenance after my glands are a little stronger. If anyone can clear some of this up for me it would be greatly appreciated. It's getting too hard too fast and I can't see a naturopath until november. I need to find a way to manage this until then so I can keep my job and health insurance. I'm sure theres a lot I'm not mentioning, so please feel free to ask for any relevant info that would help you help me. I don't know what to do. Someone please help.
Thanks candisufferer, you're the second person to mention iodine supplements so I'm going to check it out. I was using kosher salt for probably 3 or 4 months which has no iodine in it, so maybe that's part of the problem. I also didn't know there was much I could do through traditional western medicine regarding this, so your input there is helpful also.

There are many types of fat: not all are created equal.
Since many vitamins are linked with fat inorder to be absorbed how can one get the proper vit's without some fat?
With that said....Fatty_liver
