I understand that Iodine will help remove heavy metals and halides from the fat cells but I wonder about how it will work as far as removing other toxins from fat cells. Specifically, I realized that some of my health problems lately are from using a "natural" (plant based) progesterone cream for 6 months that has resulted in a number of negative side effects.
What brand of cream did you use? At what dosage (how much), coverage area (part of the body), and frequency (times during the day)?
Many creams use soy with pharma progesterone nowadays and call it "natural" when they are synthetic from a lab.
From what I understand, progesterone from these creams can reside in the fat cells for as much as two years before they completely leave the body. Since most detoxes don't remove any toxins from fat cells, I was considering doing a panchakarma treatment to remove these toxins. However, I'm not in the greatest health to begin with and am not sure how well I'll do on 9 days of just lentils and rice, so if I can avoid that I would be grateful. Does anyone know or could anyone venture an educated guess as to whether they think iodine could help remove the extra progesterone (from the progesterone cream) from one's fat cells? By the way, I had been taking Lugol's but just ordered Iosol and also nascent iodine, about both of which I have heard very good things. Thanks in advance for any guidance.
A few more questions: Did you get a complete hormone lab panel prior, during, or after using the cream?
