Has anyone done painting using only iodide?
if so, any benefits or differences from iodine?

I have painted with Lugols which is both Iodine and iodide. It WILL cause Dermatitus if you paint the same spot every day. If you must paint the same spot every day, mix Lugols with an oil carrier, such as grapeseed oil or coconut oil.
Otherwise paint every other day to avoid dermatitus.
I got rid of a nasty skin lesion by painting it 2 x a day with Lugols 5%

MoreThis is a reply to # 1,983,872Yes I have tried Iodide painting; it is like a skin-tonic and totally different from iodine. It tightens the skin, feels energizing, nails love it too.
But, it doesnt remove moles etc. this way.
I use Lugols/water 50-50 with a tiny amount of vit c; just enough to a colorless solution.- Re: Painting iodide? paraboy

This is a reply to # 1,984,322DMSO will clean the lungs out entirely, but this would probably kill an ex smoker.
All the chemicals in the lungs would dump into the blood stream.
As far as topically, DMSO is great.
My mom's issues will be the drug dependence withdrawals.

This is a reply to # 1,984,322I'm curious about this also. I would like to use it on a nail fungus. Dr. Julian Whitaker suggests the combo. I was wondering about whether or not anything that's a liquid potassium Iodide supplement was considered SSKI ? And if it has sodium benzoate in it, does it matter if you use DMSO? I've never used DMSO and have been really concerned about the warning about what you can have on your skin when using it because it draws it into your system. Anyone that knows about this stuff, please reply and talk to us here.
