Long QT syndrome (LQTS) is a disorder of the heart's electrical activity. I have a friend who for years would always have these scary blackouts, and most of the time the Dr's would say it was related to stress, or just his emotions making it happen. No real diagnosis. So a few nights ago my friend almost died after having one of these blackouts, but thanks to fast acting paramedics, they caught what was happening with my friends heart, and once at the hospital a Dr finally named what was happening all these years after being dismissed by other Dr's as simply emotions. Even cardiologists. So this last time they caught it somehow??
So I was hoping anyone may have had personal experiences with things like this, what you do, any extra info? The only thing the Dr who diagnosed this said possible pacemaker... So I'm just trying to see in Raw Land if anyone has any info? Stories? treatments? Anyone I can ask questions to who has experienced this?
Thanks.
