I'd like to
Water Fast for weight loss reasons; I'm already a healthy weight without any health problems, and I eat quite healthily, but given I'm short and a normal weight weight it's almost impossible for me to lose more than a kilo a month using traditional means, which makes up a huge amount of my time. I've looked a lot into
Water Fasting and have heard that 72 hours is the point where your metabolism begins to slow, but before then it isn't slowed. If I was to spend 7-14 days fasting for 72 hours, then eating for around 24-36, then fasting for 72 hours again etc. would this end up slowing my metabolism or not? If so, how long would I have to refeed inbetween every 72 hours to prevent slowing? I'm sure it isn't a good or too healthy thing for me to do, so there's no need to tell me this, but given it should only take me a week or two at the most to get to where I'd like I'm not going to worry about it.
