Sherpa
I am starting to rapidly recover. I have energy to go out. And I'm starting to meet people and date again.
It feels great (emotionally) but it seems a little bit hard on my body. It requires a bit of physical energy to go out and stay up late, deal with getting-to-know-you drama, etc. I've found that gentle-harmonious interactions with people are easy on the body and mind... and emotionally frustrating-upsetting ones are very intense on the body.
Question 1:
The past two times I have engaged in sexua| activity, my body (particularly arms) start to tingle profusely. This persists for hours afterwards, until this next morning or day. I do not get similar effects from non-sexual physical exertion. Is this low blood pressure? Low cortisol? A bad sign I'm "overdoing it"? Anything I can do for it?
Question 2:
Do you have any tips or advice on dating or sex while in AF recovery? For the time being, I have avoided orgasms during sexua| encounters as it seems to delete my energy much more intensely than pre-AF.
I'd love to hear your experiences of successful sex and dating while recovering from AF!
Thanks,
Sherpa
