Alright well i was going to wait a while before i posted this but with such huge progress i want to share this with you guys so let me know what you think. :)

Well let me start off by saying how this ec started for me. It all began a couple months ago when i ended up falling on the sidewalk and hurting my lip. I think that maybe a couple of layers came off but i didnt really notice until a couple of days later when i went to go brush my teeth and noticed some white gooey stuff on the inside of my lips! I didnt really know what it was so i just decided to just rub it off. I did that for a couple of days and it would still not go away so instead of leaving it alone and letting it heal (like i should have done and to which this day i regret) i started using different lip balms and chapsticks and continued to rub it off but it would still not go away. Next thing i know i end up having a really raw bottom lip and the top "triangle" was raw on my upper lip :|
Thats about the time when i discovered this forum and noticed that some people had cured themselves by leaving their lips alone so i thought that i would give that a try. I ended up leaving them alone for about 1 1/2 months and it was one of the hardest things i had ever done! My lips looked so disgusting! It was horrible! i couldnt even leave my house! It was the first time in my life that i had actually been depressed. Anyways so after about 1 1/2 months of waiting my top lip finally peeled by itself and i barely noticed any progress at all! I was so mad/sad and i was like fuk it and thats when i decided to start using chapsticks and lip balms again but after a couple of weeks of using different stuff my lips were at their worst again. Back to square one, thats when i found a thread on here about someone using Otex ear drops and although i dont think it fully cured him about after about 2 weeks of using it his lips looked pretty normal and with school coming up for me i thought what the heck if my lips at least look normal i can at least get through school and heal my lips later so i decided to use some ear drops ( i didnt use otex because its only available in the uk). The first time i used the ear drops it stung a lil bit but not too bad and i noticed that the ear drops were taking off the scabs on my lips (my lips had peeled raw 2 days before using the ear drops so i had a thin layer of crust/scab growing) so it left my lips looking a lil raw at first. I ended up using the ear drops for about 9 days and although the ear drops kept the scabs from forming and getting thick, my lips still looked a lil raw so thats when i decided to stop using it as i dont think it would ever actually cure me. So here's what ive been doing since then, i ended up coming across a thread where someone basically left their lips alone while moisturizing their lips every couple of hours with a damp paper towel, now this sounded interesting to me because basically the only people that say they got cured claim to do so by just leaving their lips alone and completely dry but for some reason i just dont agree with leaving our lips COMPLETELY DRY and since i had tried that method before with minimal results i wanted to leave my lips alone while moisturizing them so why not use water as a moisturizer?

So heres what i do:

Basically every 2 hours i just take a paper towel, wet it with just basic tap water and then i just lie down and put the paper towel on my lips for 10-15 min, thats it. Thats all i do lol and also what i decided to do was every other hour (when i dont put the paper towel on my lips) i drink a full glass of water, just to make sure that im drinking a lot of water daily. So basically every hour im doing something which helps me by keeping me active instead of just sitting around doing nothing all day. Oh and also i take a shower daily which i think helps a lot. Also im not sure if the ear drops actually contributed to my healing at all maybe it did, maybe it didnt...i actually dont know so yea.

So yeah thats all i do, im not fully cured YET but as i said my lips feel SO MUCH BETTER and i can see the healthy skin on the parts where my lips dont have crusts. Also i took a shower yesterday and the parts that dont have crust didnt turn white at all! Truly amazing! I have some pics but i dont have a good camera as i just use my shitty camera phone so i apologize for the poor quality ha

I know you cant really see it too well but in that last pic, wherever you dont see crust/scabs theres actually healthy skin there and everyday the crusts/scabs are shinking or coming off :)
