Hey ladies,
Well, my two year post removal anniversary is next month. As much as I have greatly improved, I still have some issues that continue to smack me around. For me, my vision loss never returned, I have lower back pain, I have days where I still have the "air hunger" and have to huff in big gasps of air, etc.
If those three thing never improve, I can live like that. It's not fun, but it isn't debilitating like my previous symptoms were. However, I am still having a terrible time during my PMS weeks on some months, and I am really trying to figure out how to improve it. For me, it is at the 4-5 days before my period, and my mood is all over the place (which is so not me). I have entire days where I just feel so negative and downright angry for absolutely no reason. I also do a lot of walking around in a daze.
My GP says that it sound like I have PMDD, but I'm not willing to do any of the things that he says that I have to do to "fix" it (birth control pills, hysterectomy, or pills to stop my ovulation). I'd really like to take care of it naturally.
I've noticed that I have good luck with the Progon B, but I don't want to take it forever.
Do any of you other ladies, especially the ones out there who are further along post-Mirena like I am, have any thoughts on this? What has been your experience? Have you found anything to really help you? I just hate getting to that week every single month and knowing that I have to prepare myself for just feeling mad at the world for no reason for several days. And then, the day that I start bleeding--BAM, I feel great again.
Any thoughts would be great. Hope you all are well!
