after I got the metrodonazole for 5 days and that didnt work i got the results back from the pap smear and bacterial report pap is fine and the bacterial report says
"altered vaginal flora not consistent with bacterial vaginosis" and "no yeast" and no stds. If I have no damn infection why am i smelling. I bought hundreds of dollars worth of probiotics both oral ones and suppositories that are supposed to restore the vaginal flora with no reduction in the odor. It might have been from the hibiclens it's altered. So now if i go back to the doctor what chance do i have to find a cure?Advertisement

MoreThis is a reply to # 1,959,751Have you been tested for TMAU? I took a brief look at your history there and thats what it would seem it would be. Especially if there is nothing consistent with a bacterial infection.
Do you get things like wetness down there front and back? Does certain foods make it worse? What kind of smell is it? Does it fluctuate?- Re: yikes #151025

This is a reply to # 1,959,756I haven't been tested for tmau. I emailed George Preti to get tested through the Monell chemical senses centre and it's $75 for the test kit and $250 for the test. I don't want to spend that kind of money for a test that I'm not 100% certain about. Maybe if I go back to the gyno in a month ill ask him if he would send a referral to get tested for tmau. - Re: yikes #151025

MoreThis is a reply to # 1,959,756Also I think there is a never ending smell there. I don't know I cant smell it myself although sometimes I smell something and i dont know if it's me lol. But anyway I think it's an eggy smell. Sometimes if I drink apple cider vinegar it will be a burning smell or if I take certain supplements with choline it will be a smell like fish but most of the time i think it smells like eggs sulfur smell.
