1 or 2 cups of tea per day will partially interrupt ketosis. You will still be fat-burning just as you would on a restricted carbohydrate diet, but to a slightly lesser extent. However, the crucial thing here is the body knows it has external feeding, and nutrient reserves are not conserved nearly as well. Healing and cleansing are also interrupted.
Scurvy for example is known to appear on a very restricted diet, but not so on a water-only-fast.
