So, it's been awhile since I have posted. I have not forgotten about you ladies and i still check in from time to time. I have just been doing so well I rarely think about those days. Frankly, they scare me. I do have a fear that one day I could feel like that again. But, I had that laundry list of symptoms and felt like I was spiraling out of control. My body was failing me and worse of all, so was my mind. That is all in the past now. I have no residual effects from that evil thing...thank the lord! I am working 30+ hours a week, going to the gym and being active in my childrens lives! It is wonderful. I have started on lo loestreon (spelling probably wrong). I have been on that for 2 months now and so far so good. I just wanted to give it a try...plus I was afraid of accidentally getting pregnant. Well, thats about it. Just wanted you to know there is light at the end of the tunnel. Everyone's exxperience is not the same, but I hope this brings hope to at least one of you ladies that are struggling. MoreThis is a reply to # 1,953,695Can you share some tips on things that you tried that helped you heal, or did it just take TIME? My daughter had mirena for over two yrs and is now 8 months post removal and though she has improved a great deal in some areas still continues to suffer a great deal with neuropathy, leg pain, hands and feet burning and numbness, and almost total vision loss in left eye, and horrible anxiety and weird thoughts. I have taken her to every Dr around and none of them can explain it. She takes a lot of medication for neuropathy, Savella, gabapentin, NSAIDs, Tramedol, pain meds, but nothing seems to help much. She feels sometimes like it will never end and her whole life is over. Thanks for your post, it helps to know people can actually recover from this living nightmare. Best wishes, Hailey

This is a reply to # 1,953,703I think it really just took time. Nothing really made me feel better. The Dr did give me benzo's that I would take if I really felt anxious. I tried to take multi-vitamins, vit D and biotin. I had problems with hair loss due to the hormone fluctuations. I think it just took a lot of time for my body to figure out how to regulate my hormones. I'm not a dr and cant begin to understand what happened to my body, but somehow it figured out how to heal itself or maybe it just stopped attacking itself. This is a reply to # 1,953,711Encouraging Post, Purple flower! Thanks for sharing. I echo your thoughts. I don't come on here as often either because I feel so much better. But, that definitely was the darkest time in my ENTIRE life. I was so scared and sick. And, I felt like everyone thought I was crazy! This is a reply to # 1,953,711This is great to hear! Glad you are doing well. It gives all of us hope.
My lingering symptoms seems to be insomnia and not being able to get a full breath (which is really annoying more than anything else). I am only 7 weeks post and only had one cycle so far, so we shall see what is in store. I had a major heat flash a few nights ago so I think I ovulated. lol I had major anxiety for 3 weeks and that just seems to have gone away. I do take magnesium when I feel as if I might get anxious.
I don't come here as often either since I am feeling better. I do try and check on new posts to see if I can help anyone out. However, sometimes reading the posts sends me spiraling back down that path, mentally. Plus it makes me so angry that they are still putting that evil thing in women without giving them all the information.
