Does anyone know if ALA and iodine can be used to chelate out heavy metals instead of ALA and DMPS or EDTA?
Due to the bbb and the harmful effects of mercury in the brain, I believe getting the mercury out of the brain is the most important. ALA seems to be the one I see most often used.
There seems to be improvements with autoimmune diseases when ALA is incorporated.
I am just wondering if once ALA removes mercury from the brain, if iodine would chelate the mercury from the body?
I have my mom eat kale and spinach in smoothies, but she doesn't have dentures that fit her bottoms.
I agree that foods heal, but our foods are very deficient compared to what they were pre 1960's.
If iodine mobilizes heavy metals to the blood stream, what moves out of the body?
