I have some great conversations here and there with Charles Hakala owner of Hakala Labs here in Colorado. They test for Iodine, Bromide, Fluoride and Serum/Saliva
Iodine ratio testing. Recently he purchase a mass spectrometer and is fiddling with it to do some other testing and is in the process of learning to use and get clear what all of what he wants to use it for. He is part of
Iodine Project and was involved with helping Abraham formulate Iodoral. I believe he has contact here and there with Abraham, Flechas and Brownstein.
We talked about a month ago and he mentioned dosing himself with boron in the 25mg range daily and he did pre and post urine checking on fluoride. He wanted to see if boron increase his body's output of fluoride.
I sent him GinaGirl's consolidated post on boron/borax and here is his reply:
Michael,
Thanks for the info. Although one of the posts says that borax is 11% boron, incorrect its approx 2.837% (molecular wt of borax is 381, boron is 10.81 so 10.81/381= 2.837%)
therefore one teaspoonful is approx 140mg or boron.
I tried 150mg of boron and found no increase in fluoride excretion. Would you mind seeing if any of your contacts can supply the method to support the statement that boron increases fluoride excretion.
Although I found no increase with fluoride it does kick out a bunch of other nasty stuff.
Thanks,
Charles
