IMPO, dreaming about the dog which was lost and crying a lot, may also simbolize that you´te also crying for something you have also lost; this could be many things, because as we grow we all have loses. Jobs, friendships, dreams, relationships, family, expectations etc.

What makes me think the most is that the dog said "I want".

The dog might represent and aspect of you, that has been lost and it is expressing his WANTS, via the lost dog.

Probably you need to think what have you lost (and cried about) and another is, to think what THAT ASPECTS OF YOU WANTS.

Probably the dog is giving you a very important clue. When you moved to another country? You might miss your country or family..... Hope you get some answers with this feedback.

I am sorry to hear about the loss of your dog. I know we can get very attached to our pets, but it is most unlikely that the dream really does pertain to your lost dog.
