. I suppose it's possible that the early mercury fillings opened the way to MAP, do you think? I mean it's been about 20 years since the mercury fillings were in. I would have dumped it all since then, surely?
If you search mercury on this forum you will find some information on the hype over mercury. I have also covered the fact that most of the mercury leaches out of amalgams within the first 2 years of having them put in. And most of that gets bound by things such as alginates, phytates and pectins in the diet pulling it from the body.
Mercury from amalgams and/or vaccines is also a possible cause of crohn
Do you have any evidence or at least a solid premise for this claim?
Personally I think the whole mercury issue is way overblown and so may symptoms are attributed to mercury that are not really symptoms of mercury poisoning.
I read with interest some of your earlier posts on MAP and it's role in Crohn's disease. In particular, you mention these herbs/supplements that can help:
I'll quote you, if I may-
"I would focus on the chaparral, pau d' arco and andrographis. This combination will kill most pathogens. And combine it with the yucca root and licorice root. These are not only antimicrobial and adrenal supporting, but both also contain saponins that will make the other herbs more toxic to the bacteria."
May question is, what would the protocol for this combination be specifically
You would use less of the licorice root and yucca root than the other herbs. So you could make a mix using 3 ounces each of the chaparral, pau d' arco and andrographis with an ounce each of the licorice root and yucca root. If you want to take it as a powder then I recommend a half teaspoon three to 4 times daily at least 20 minute before meals. If you want to go with capsules then two 'OO' capsules or three 'O' capsules would be the equivalent of the half teaspoon of powder.
and for how long do you think? I mean, can they be taken together or sequentially - A little more on this would be ace.
They are mixed and taken together. As to how long I recommend at least a couple of months since many of these herbs also help to support the adrenals, which is also essential in autoimmune conditions.
Speaking of which, additional adrenal support such as natural vitamin C and pantothenic acid sources is advised. And don't forget to stay away from stimulants like caffeine, steroidal medications and watch your stress levels as these all adversely affect the adrenals.
After a few months you can switch to more of an adrenal support type formula instead of targeting the bacteria.
Vitamin D has also been found to help with immune regulation in autoimmunity. Sunlight is the best source. If you supplement look for D3 and don't exceed 2,000IU daily.
Many thanks for your expertise once again.
You are welcome.

Yes, I do. My personal health crash five months after vaccinations. My main health issue was crohn but I had adrenal insufficiency, brain fog, midriasis, gums bleeding and much more... people with mercury toxicity due to amalgams have 90% the same malaise.
You are talking about symptoms that can have a variety of causes. In fact, you mention having Crohn's, which is caused in large from from adrenal insufficiency, which can be linked to a lot of your symptoms.
Again, this is why people need to be careful about self diagnosis. They tend to read some symptoms on the internet that often are not related at all to what the internet site is referring to and people assume that this is what they have.
As an unrelated example all the progesterone sites I have seen claim that estrogen dominance causes a lack of libido, which is not true. Progesterone causes a lack of libido along with many symptoms that both estrogen and progesterone cause. The progesterone sites don't mention these facts though so people read the misleading information of the site and assume if they have those symptoms that it must be from estrogen dominance when it is not.
Every autistic child have similar issues with gut as people with mercury fillings have - candida, small intestine bacterial overgrowth(SIBO), initial stage of ulcerative, crohn...
I still have all my amalgams and no problems whatsoever. So does my brother who is also healthy. As so many other healthy people I know also have their amalgams still.
I'm talking about my own personal experience and people's word from first hand...
Jamie, my friend you always underestimate the effect and hazard of heavy metals...
No, I am cautious about being overzealous about heavy metal claims. I don't think mercury is safe, but I do think that the risk of danger is way over hyped putting people in to a sate of paranoia.
The whole thing reminds me of the person in a college started a petition to ban dihydrogen oxide claiming how dangerous it was and how it kills thousands of people each year, etc. People fell for the hype and they collected enough signatures to get a ban on the dihydrogen oxide. If those people would have simply taken a few minutes to research the claims from a credible source rather that accepting the hyped up propaganda they would have known how silly the petition was. They managed to get water (dihydrogen oxide) banned.
But they were right. Water kills people everyday. :D
So does living. Should we ban living?
I had these symptoms before starting chelation via Cutler's protocol. Now 1 1/2 years later 85% of the symptoms are gone because of balance nutritional program and chelation by low frequent dose method.
The problem with this is that the half life of mercury in most tissues is only a few days to a few months. So most mercury you were exposed to from lets say vaccines should have been out of your system long before 1 1/2 years. So you may still be dealing with something other than mercury poisoning.
