I have a TV I use for a monitor but no antenna is hooked up to watch anything so I don't need a remote. I won't pay for cable and there is nothing local worth watching other than local news that I can catch on the radio driving. I work out of town a lot where I can see cable at the motel, last Friday night I caught the movie 'Brother Where Art Thou' in Corpus Christi with remote viewing.
movie was loosely based on "the odyssey" if you are to believe what is written on the internets. it does have the sirens, a cyclops (goodman) and various other elements, translated into hillbilly of course.
I first heard this from my 25 yo son this past weekend in Corpus as he works with me daily. Apparently while reading the Odyssey in high school English class his teacher told them this. When you look up the movie credits online it even lists Homer as a co-author. It is indeed an epic film.

Your remote viewing skills are a heck of a lot better than mine if you can see a whole movie. :)
