I think the paleo template is very good at maximizing sports performance and leanness.I do like the focus on quality whole foods such as pastured eggs.
Yes I have ran strict paleo and the only issue was a bit more cramping.This was mainly in the calf muscle and brought on by endurance stressors.Keeping the carb intake under a 100 grams does require tracking along with wise choices.Which is a pain but doable.
