yes, i saw Jarvis for a consultation. i wasn't too impressed. he was non-communicative and i had to pry out of him what he planned to do and why. he saw me from a surgeons point of view and only saw my mouth, not my entire person. IMO, many docs get irritated when you question what they are doing, and that is a bad sign. your body, your money, your employee.
what i understand he does is basically cuts a slot in the caviated area and injects ozone. that's it. he thought scraping and such was too aggressive, but that is his opinion.
i ended up seeing a ND who is also a former dentist named Dr. Michael Lipelt. he did sort of the same thing, but with a different recipe. but, he was far more tuned it to the patient and what they can tolerate without being overwhelmed and overtaxed. but no i have not seen any changes yet. i return tomorrow for a follow up and i was told it takes about 3 months before you start to see a change...if you will.
i think Dr. L is a straight shooter and honest about what he does. my cavitations are minor, but i am hoping for some improvement still.
