Not useless antibiotics, but super-bug creating antibiotics.
As commercial animal processing plants inject antibiotics into the animals, the animals harbor the surviving biotics that have become resistant. Then, their human masters slaughter and/or consume animal products with the superbugs, becoming superbug carriers in their own bodies. The circle continues until enough superbugs alter the digestive tracts of people, creating new breeds of diseases. Then, at hospitals, those same antibiotics fail to do anything of value. Death begins in the GI tract?
I love how the article directs your attention to pharma profits and how short-term antibiotics aren't profitable enough versus life-long drugs that people are conditioned to take. Short-sighted, controlled, articles like these offer no real value to society and should point out that there is no pharma looking out for people's health on more than one level. Profits before people - say that three times fast, cross your fingers, and wait for the cash to roll in by gullible, scared, sickly people that eat only processed foods from their local feedlot groceries.
The only way to beat this game is to educate ourselves about the antibiotic users, quit buying their sh1t, and eat only organic, anti-biotic free foods. Many won't care though, cause they are used to the drive-thru feedlot lifestyle that does not require any prep time. Thoughts!?
