1. Are you remembering to undo the clamp?
2. If you are undoing the clamp to let water in and still isn't going in, look at the tube where the clamp is. If the tube is kinked or collapsed there, then undo the clamp (when the bag is empty) and slide it a couple of
inches up or down the rubber tube, and then try the enema.
3. Sometimes,you need to move the anal nozzle a little. This may simply be tipping it a slightly different angle. If the tip is butting up against the rectum wall then water will not flow out, hence, taking your hand and re-angling the nozzle and holding in place until the water flow starts.
4. Also, don't hang the bag way up on your shower head. Once the water does start flowing the pressure will be too high. Hang from a towel rack instead. If the water is going to flow, it will flow adequately from the towel rack and the lower pressure is better on your body.
