My guess is your thyroid is enlarged. Both my sister and mom have Graves. With my family history you would think my doctor would test me for Graves, but no. My sister used alternative methods to regulate her disease and it's taken several years for her to find something that works. She tried everything from massage, hypnosis, Edgar Casey, prayer, you name it, she did it. My mom had RAI and is now on Synthoid.

When I was first diagnosed with hyperT, it felt like I had something stuck in my throat all the time. My doctor said it was a goiter. After the meds he gave me, it went down. I really don't remember what he gave me. I know they were from Chile and they helped get my blood test back to normal. Sorry I can't be of more help. I just finished writing my story above.
