Yes, there is all sorts of research showing that iodine is toxic in high levels. This is why I get so upset with the people on the iodine boards attacking me when I try to point this out. For that matter look a how crazy they got in the thread regarding iodine causing acne. And it is not bromine being pushed out as they claim. It is the iodine causing the inflammatory response.
