Greetings,
Considering you are clearly able to link .pdf files via the http://108pages.com site, why then do you not provide a link to the entire School of Self-Applied Prevention book one, also known as William Howard Hay's, Health via Food?
It seems nonsensical to me to sell a photocopy when you could provide the entire book in .pdf format, free of unreasonable charges and open to one and all.
A curious,
TCF.
"MH has also redone the book, putting particular information in large bold print so that we pay particular attention to it."
Does this justify the extra $45? The increased cost to add bold print to every tenth sentence would be no more than a dollar.
"Yes, see references to Dr. Hayward in Book One, but I doubt that everything in book one is from Dr. Hayward and I doube that everyting from Dr. Haywards "Health Via Food" is in MH's Book One."
"Book One" is an unauthorised reprint (photocopy) of Dr. William Howard Hay's, Health via Food. I have the two books to compare, and regardless of this, it states the above fact in "Book One".
"MH has his own wisdom in Book One."
Where? Being able to highlight the occasional sentence is not a sign of being wise.
"For someone (MH) is you say is out to con us, he shares a lot of himself and his wisedom on this forums and gives advice to those who want to learn how to make their own formulas."
I am not stating that MH is a con-artist. I am merely asking for him to do a decent, selfless act and allow people to download "his" book freely from the 108Pages site.
"...you would not begrudge him to make a decent living I 'm sure?"
Of course not, and he makes a decent living working in a factory.
Ha, reading "Mr. Forceman" caused me great amusement. Perhaps I shall patent a range of Mean Obscene Enzyme-Destroying Machines of my own...
I would still like to read an answer to my original question, but unfortunately this is not forthcoming. I do not think my comments are judgemental, as they are mere questions; I admit I become rather irritated after receiving a number of replies that make no attempt to answer my original question. Never mind, if I receive no real answer to my original question I may well email the man himself and hope that he at least dignifies my query with a response.
I do not feel I am suggesting anything out-of-the-ordinary here; I am merely asking why someone needs to charge $50 for a book he can display on his site for free.
