A blood sugar level of 62 is hypoglycemic - an advanced Type II diabetic situation. Individual readings have little meaning. The important blood sugar reading is the a1c test which tells the amount of glucose the cells have absorbed over a three month period of time. My last one was 5.6 - where any reading under 6.0 is "normal." I was diagnosed Type II at least six years ago. I am still Type II as is the person that your link points to. That individual just doesn't know it.
I'm on a diet that limits carbos to 5 grams per meal for a maximum total of 15 per day - less than the Atkins induction diet. It works.
