I think the Gerson Therapy is amazing and one of the best alternative cancer treatments there is. Albert Schweitzer said of Dr Max Gerson that he was the most eminent medical genius of his generation.
The therapy is nutritionally based (intensive liquid nutrition and cleansing (especially of the Liver) ). He said that cancer patients invariably had an impaired and unclean Liver.
coffee enemas are essential for the cleansing and rejuvenation of the Liver and gallbladder. The standard medical joke regarding coffee enemas is usually "would you prefer cream or milk with yours"!!!

I wouldn't say it was my place to approve or disapprove a fasting retreat, but I do know of the reputation of the Doctors who run some of them, and where Dr Cinque is right up there with them.
One of the original Hygienists and Doctors of Natural Hygiene that I admired greatly was Dr David Scott who passed on in 2011 at the grand old age of 87. He was a workaholic for his cause and probably would have lived another 10 years if not. He was an active Doctor till the end......................

I am not that familiar with the new scene of Doctors who specialize in therapeutic fasting and only know of the "old school" crowd I'm afraid.
Dr Alec Burton is another but his practice is in Australia.
