what do you think of this unit for ozonating water and external use. They are based in Las Vegas..
Based on what I am reading I have my doubts that the unit is a cold corona. Even more when I look at the parts. First of all you cannot generate ozone with a 1KV transformer unless it is a solid state transformer. But solid state transformers operate at a much higher frequency converting cold corona tubes in to a hot corona. Looking at the parts in side I am pretty certain they are using a solid state transformer. This would also explain the heat they are talking about reducing with the fan and there talking about having to replace the tubes. A properly constructed cold corona tube will produce very little heat and the tubes generally last decades.
