I talked to friend who had candida overgrowth and he underwent hydrogen peroxide IV treatment. what is your opinion on this? sounds 2good2betrue

a lot of people with mercury fillings have mercury toxicity, i would get it checked just in case. but also candida symptoms are almost identical to heavy metal toxicity so its hard to see which one u have. so solve one and see if u still have problems with the other.

Heavy metals have varying symptoms depending on the metal.  Interestingly I have seen a lot of people claim symptoms of mercury poisoning that were not symptoms of mercury poisoning at all. But these phony symptoms lists for mercury get reposted over and over on the Internet and sometimes added to so many people end up falsely thinking they have mercury poisoning.  The whole mercury thing is so over hyped, especially when it comes to amalgams.

As far as the IV hydrogen peroxide I agree with you that it is too good to be true.  Peroxide does serve a number of functions in the body including activation of white blood cells for immunity.  But it is not a lack of white blood cells nor lack of white blood cell activity that leads to candidiasis.  The overgrowth is from an alteration in the terrain from the normally acidic tissues where Candida is found to an alkaline state.  The acids turn off the Candida growth gene and keep the Candida in a benign yeast form.  When the terrain goes alkaline the Candida growth gene is turned on and the Candida goes fungal leading to candidiasis.

Peroxide is not going to change the pH of the terrain.  In fact, peroxide is unstable in an alkaline environment and stable in an acidic environment.  This is why acid stabilizers are added to 3% peroxide solutions.

But there is something else to keep in mind.  Peroxide is short lived in the blood.  We have enzymes such as catalase and superoxide dismutase that quickly break down peroxide in the blood.  There is a chain reaction in the process, but it is not likely to survive long enough to reach areas of Candida overgrowth such as the colon, which is absorbent anyway.  So peroxide can be absorbed from the colon, but it is not going to go from the bloodstream to the colon.

Even if it could reach the colon all it would take is one surviving spore and the Candida would overgrow right back if the pH of the terrain is not corrected, which is something peroxide does not do.
