It's been a while since I've done Oil Pulling. My mouth doesn't feel as healthy as it used to.
I recently went to the dentist and was told that I would need a deep cleaning. I'm hoping that Oil Pulling will eliminate the need for the deep cleaning.
I bought some Olive Oil and will use that for pulling. I'm glad to be back to Oil Pulling!
In the past, I have used Olive Oil for pulling. I usually brush my teeth right after pulling and so far, my teeth aren't discolored.
I'm pulling once a day (at night, a few hours before I go to bed). I'm considering oil pulling in the mornings.
Since starting Oil Pulling 15 days ago, I feel so much better!
I no longer feel groggy during during the day and I sleep soundly at night. I wake up in the morning feeling refreshed and not tired (like I used to).
My gums no longer bleed and they're beginning to look pink again. I'm considering pulling with either sesame oil or coconut oil.
I'm also considering increasing my oil pulling to twice a day.
I use different oils depending on the time. For morning/day I use Flax Seed oil. If I use that at night it keeps me awake - for hours and hours. In the evening I use coconut oil because it always makes me feel sleepy afterwards.
If I ever absolutely positively need to sleep til noon (like catching up on lost sleep etc) OP with coconut oil before bedtime is the only thing that works for me. Even Nyquil can't do that for me.
There are major differences between the effects of different oils, so it's good to try new ones.
